Parents/Guardians of New & Returning Students Urged to Turn In 2019-2020 Registration Forms
June 27, 2019
Parents and guardians of new and returning students to the Wakulla County School District are urged to fill out registration paperwork and forms as soon as possible to ensure a smooth start to their children’s school year.
Forms are available on the Wakulla County School District website at wakulla.schooldesk.net.
On the home webpage of the Wakulla County School District, look for “Quick Links”. The “Student Registration Packet” is located there.
The Student Registration packet has specific instructions for NEW students called “Initial Student Enrollment for 2019-2020”.
Returning students’ required paperwork is under “Annual Student Data Forms for 2019-2020” further down on the same page.
New this year is that all students in grades Pre-K through 12 will receive free breakfast and lunch due to a government program. No paperwork for “Free and Reduced Lunch” will need to be filled out.
“We are taking advantage of this federal program in order to help as many children and parents as we can,” states Superintendent Bobby Pearce. “This program has been successfully implemented in other school districts across the nation, so we want to do what we can for the citizens of Wakulla without imposing any additional taxes for it.”
Parents and guardians are encouraged to call the school their child plans to attend with any questions about the Student Registration Packet.
