On May 23, Wakulla Adult Education and Wakulla Institute students participated in a moving graduation ceremony at the Wakulla County School District auditorium.

From Wakulla’s Adult Education program, graduates are Mary Bagley, Savannah Crosby, Austin Geiger, Abigail Glover, Brooke Glover, Hunter Harrell, Trinity Hauck, Tyron Hester, Cheyenne Jones, Destinee Letts, June Marino, Chase Motes, Cheyenne Pafford, Bailey Probert, Brandon Stringer, Scarlett Walker and Breanna White.

Natasha Gunnarsson earned her high school diploma from Wakulla Institute.

Superintendent Bobby Pearce noted, “We are proud of these students who persevered to earn their diplomas.  I know they will go on to pursue careers with the confidence that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.”

Adult Education Director Dod Walker and Chief Academic Officer Sunny Chancy joined Superintendent Pearce in congratulating the graduates.

Families, friends, teachers, staff, and administrators celebrated with the graduates afterward at a reception held in their honor.  “Many of these students have overcome obstacles to get to this point, which makes us doubly proud of them for being on this stage tonight,” said Superintendent Pearce.
