Introductory Welding Night Classes Offered to Community

The Wakulla County School District, in partnership with Lively Technical Center, announces a new evening “Introduction to Welding Technologies” course located at the welding facility on the Wakulla High School campus.
Classes will begin on Tuesday, October 27 and will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. for six weeks.
This course will teach the technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education in the welding field. Participants will learn about machinery and equipment safety while advancing towards technologies directly related to a career in welding.
The teacher will be Roscoe Grant, an experienced instructor from Lively Technical Center who currently teaches “Introduction to Welding Technologies” and more advanced welding courses to Wakulla High School students during the day.
